
Pickerington North Lockdown – Tuesday, the school system declared a “lockdown” at Pickerington North High School and Lakeview Junior High because of a “external threat” for over two hours. The lockdowns were started around 1:15 p.m., according to Superintendent Dr. Chris Briggs, after a threat was made against one of the kids. Around 3:15 p.m., pupils from both schools were let out.
According to Briggs, no one entered the school’s grounds, and law enforcement is looking into the threat. All evening activities for Tuesday have been postponed by the district.
The following schools’ bus routes had delays as a result of the lockdowns:
Harmon Middle School
Toll Gate Middle School
Fairfield Elementary
Toll Gate Elementary
Tussing Elementary
Violet Elementary
