It is saddening that veteran Malayalam actor Kochu Preman passed away on Saturday, 3rd December 2022. His death news broke out just a while ago. Kochu Preman passed away after a brief illness. As of yet, the report regarding the actor’s cause of death is yet to come out. It is still unknown what caused him to die at the age of 67. Currently, we only know he was ill for the last many days. His illness will be specified later.
Prior to starting his acting career, he was a theatre performer. His cinema career began in 1979 when he acted in the movie Ezhu Nirangal which was his debut movie. But later he went on a hiatus from acting in movies. He started again working in movies in 1996 and gave superhits like Dilliwala Rajakumara’n. Speaking about Kochu Preman’s early career, he worked in dramas like Kalidasa Kalakendram, Sanghachethana, and Kerala Theaters. Most recently, he acted in the movie Oru Pappadavada Premam, released last year. In 2021, he also appeared in another movie titled Kaduva in which he essayed the role of Ithakk.
As mentioned, he died at the age of 68, he was born in 1955 in Thiruvananthapuram as KS Premkumar to his parents. Furthermore, he used to celebrate his birthday every year on the 1st of June. The veteran Malayalam actor attended Mahatma Gandhi College located in Thiruvananthapuram after completing primary education at a government school in Peyad.
