Scott Barbieux appeared on the sixth day of the trial on 14th February and explained why did he post Rapper Xxxtentacion autopsy leak pictures on Reddit. He explained that he was at RIVA Motorsports located in Deerfield Beach, Florida with his now ex-girlfriend when suddenly the rapper was ambushed in his BMW by two masked gunmen in an SUV in an attempt to rob him. But the rapper was shot dead.

Investigating officer Achille told Scott Barbieus, “Do you remember Mr. Onfroy sitting in the car and taking a picture of him on his phone after he was shot?”
Barbieux answered, “Because I’m such a big fan of his, I wanted a picture to remind me forever,”
