
Andy Davey was said to have passed away peacefully at Morriston Hospital on Sunday 27 September at the age of 75.

Andy played for Dunvant RFC in the 70’s. He was instrumental in putting together the Club “Tug Of War” and coached the team for many years He has been a good friend and sponsor to the Club for many years. His son took over the business and has carried on sponsoring the club.

He is survived by his wife Gwyne, he is also the loving father of Denise and Russell (wife Janine), beloved Ampa to Danny and Alex.

Funeral Service & GoFundme
The cortege will leave the family home at 2.30 and visit Dunvant Rugby Club grounds to enable Andy’s past friends, former players and supporters to pay their respects before travelling on to Llanelli Crematorium. Our outside bar/marquee will be open from 2.30 for those who wish to have a drink in celebration of Andy’s life and support of Dunvant Rugby Club over several years.
However, family, friends, and neighbours can pay their respects en route, as the cortege departs the family home at 2.40pm, via the Dunvant Rugby Club and leaving his garage in Dunvant at 3.00pm. Donations, in lieu of flowers, and tributes may be made, if desired, by accessing ‘Announcements’ and/or ‘Donations and Tributes’ on www.gower-funeral-services.co.uk
