Lucille Désirée Ball was an American actress, comedian, model, studio executive, and producer. Lucille was born on August 6, 1911, in Jamestown, New York, U.S. Lucille was born to Henry Durrell “Had” Ball (1887–1915), a lineman for Bell Telephone, and Désirée Evelyn “DeDe” Ball (1892–1977).
Lucille was a very talented actress and probably one of the best during her days. For the Primetime Emmy Awards, she was nominated 13 times and won five times. Aside from the Emmy Awards, she was the recipient of several other accolades, such as the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award and two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Ball complained of chest pain at her home in Beverly Hill and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles On April 18, 1989. The Doctors diagnosed her with a dissecting aortic aneurysm and underwent surgery to repair her aorta and a successful seven-hour aortic valve replacement.
Shortly after dawn on April 26, Ball awoke with severe back pain then lost consciousness and died at the age of 77.
