The transfer comes as a result of an investigation into allegations that Ullrich violated the district’s anti-harassment policy by making offensive remarks to a staff member. Mobile patrol arrested him too.
He was suspended without pay for three days and will undergo harassment and sensitivity training.
It turned out that Ulrich made sexual remarks to one or more female employees. According to Looney’s letter, this behavior was not permitted. Ulrich should also be reminded that it is not appropriate to retaliate against anyone who filed a complaint or cooperated with, or participated in, the investigation.
Ulrich took over as principal of Longview Elementary School in 2007 and has since led the school, which educates children in preschool through fifth grade.
