PHUKET, THAILAND. (THECOUNT) — Vietnamese man, Ho Hoang Hung, was rescued at sea after making an attempt to row a rubber dinghy 1,240 miles from Thailand to India to see his spouse that he had been separated from over COVID mandates.

Hung, 37, was rescued off the coast of Thailand after he had set off from Phuket, Thailand to Mumbai, India geared up solely with water and prompt noodles. The craft possessed no navigation system of any form.
