Champions League: Drogba, Fabregas react as Chelsea eliminates Real Madrid, qualify for final

Former Chelsea players, Didier Drogba and Cesc Fabregas have reacted to Thomas Tuchel’s men reaching the Champions League final.

Chelsea sealed a 3-1 aggregate Champions League semi-final win over Real Madrid on Wednesday night after defeating the LaLiga champions 2-0 in the second-leg at Stamford Bridge, thanks to two goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount.

It’s the first time Chelsea have reached the final stage since 2012 when they defeated Bayern Munich in the final.

Chelsea will face Manchester City in the Champions League on May 29 in Istanbul, Turkey.

Reacting, Drogba, who was part of the 2012 triumph in Munich, and Fabregas both took to their Twitter handles to react to Chelsea’s progress into the final.

Drogba wrote, “Let’s go @ChelseaFC. We are going to Istanbul my People.”
