    • Cheers kev i used to be a roadie with bitter suite and got to know tom well we became great mates and often stopped many nights at tom and dots back in the day and even met toms mam and dad at his high green sheffield home,he would talk fondly of jackson heights and think he was on 2 albums they made and would often play them during my stays, eventually when he left bitter suite i lost track of him but did try to find him years later with no luck i didnt know he had died till 10 years after is passing and i was truly devastated it did make me cry, this came about after i put various photos of bitter suite on facebook and memories of our club days and a chap in sheffield sent me the bad news i also put on photos of me and tom in hamburg during bitter suites residency at top 10 club,i also heard he played in past masters before he died,i did then hear he had a serious accident but never got to know what happened? i so wish i had gone see this band but i didnt know he was with or i surely would have done how old was tom when he died? Would be g4eat to hear from you about any of the above i was always known as Didler i will never ever forget tom one of the best blokes i ever met some great memories and a LEGEND.

      • Hi Michael,my name is john horbury, iv’e just read the reference that you made about Tommy Sloan, like you i have been trying to find Tommy over the years but had no joy, so it’s very sad that he has passed, when he first came to play for bitter suite he lived with my wife and i for about 2 years until he got married to dot and then he rented the house next door to us in high green so we have something in common yes he was a great guy.
