Chicago affordable housing senior building, Montclare JoAnn Thompson, opens in Englewood – What We Know!

CHICAGO (WLS) — A brand new $30 million residential complicated for seniors is now open on the South Facet.

The “Montclare JoAnn Thompson” is called after the late longtime alderman for the Englewood neighborhood.

Lawmakers, together with Mayor Lori Lightfoot, celebrated the grand opening with a ceremonial ribbon slicing Wednesday.
