My name is Yvette Garrett. I am doing this fundraiser for my son (Christopher R. Gaston 38). Christopher was called home on February 3rd, 2021. Christopher suffered from a medical emergency behind the wheel (A heart attack).

Christopher was diagnosed in 2019 with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which was being treated by chemo therapy. I also was diagnosed in 2020 with ovarian cancer. My son and I were battling cancer together. Despite my son’s illness, he helped me everyday. From rides to and from my chemo, to daily errands. I was unable to get life insurance for Christopher due to his diagnosis. My son was the most loving and caring son, father, brother, cousin and friend. I am at a loss for words with losing my son.

I am asking for help to raise $10,000 to pay for the funeral service and burial of my child. Christopher leaves behind a daughter named A’Mira age 2. A’Mira was my sons Joy and happiness. He really was proud to be a father

Little acts such as tributes and prayers can go a long way to heal the family of their loss and remind them the world still loves them.
