Don Jackson Death – Dead: Don Jackson Obituary, Cause of Death

Horace Clarke Death

Don Jackson Cause of Death | CHFI Former Evening Host has passed away. His death was announced today July 15, 2020.

Some sad news to report if you are a long time CHFI listener. Former evening host Don Jackson has passed away. His show, Lovers & Other Strangers was hugely popular in the ‘90s and early 2000s.

With tremendous sadness, I share with you that after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Don passed away on Sunday night. He was very proud of his radio show and podcast, Lovers and Other Strangers, a concept he imagined in the 1980’s and continued to develop over the years. His last project, Heartbeat of the Internet, was a joint venture he and his highly skilled webmaster crafted into a beautiful online art form. No matter what platform Don was using, he strived for perfection in every script, every music selection, every poem or writing that he produced for you. His wish was to, even in the smallest way, make a difference in your life.
I hope you will remember him fondly and I thank you for your support of Lovers and Other Strangers, Heartbeat of the Internet and of Don’s Fan Page over the years. – Lydia

  1. I have met Don in late 80’s while he was at CFQR-FM, Montreal when we were working for Mount-Royal Broadcasting Inc. He was the only announcer that was there early in the morning preparing for his evening broadcast, writing continuously to prepare an original show every day, preparing even more for special occasions. He was an exceptional writer and a fantastic and kind human being. I was so happy when Internet brought us CHFI radio to listen to him and his writing

  2. He was truly talented amd passionate about music and his show. He was a gentleman with a soothing voice. His show helped me during hard times and I will forever remember him for this. RIP Don and thank you for being a part of my life and sharing your music with all of us.
