Jack Newton Death – Jack Newton Missing Update – Jack Newton Found Safe and Alive: NSW Incident Alert wrote on Facebook: “Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Newcastle area.

Jack Newton, aged 71, was last seen walking in a westerly direction on Wharf Road, Newcastle, about 5.30pm today (Wednesday 31 March 2021).

Mr Newton, a well-known sports identity, has not been seen since.

His family reported him missing to Newcastle City Police District, who immediately commenced an investigation into Mr Newton’s whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Mr Newton’s welfare due to an ongoing medical condition.

Mr Newton is described as being of Caucasian in appearance, 180cm tall, large build, brown hair, brown eyes, and is missing his right arm. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, denim shorts, beige shoes and a blue cap, with the letter J on the front.

Officers are urging anyone with information about Mr Newton’s whereabouts to contact Newcastle City Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
