Mr. Gresham was one of a kind individual. I never knew him to fail at anything he attempted and put his heart into his entire life. A fine Christian man who was critical in the founding of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta. He was my Sunday school teacher for more years than I can remember. He left his influence on anyone with whom he ever came in contact. It is always hard to say goodbye to an old friend and mentor, but when it is one you’ve known for 50 years who had as much influence for good in my life it is nearly impossible. I am so grateful for the assurance in Jesus Christ we will meet again someday. He always had time for people and never forgot a name. A truly great man
