Mshoza Death

Nomasonto Maswanganyi who is popularly known as Mshoza has suddenly passed away today, November 19, 2020.

Mshoza was bon on January 07, 1983 in Johannesburg Meadowlands Clinic. Lived with grandparents in Protea North from 1988 who raised me until the age of 19 when my grandmother passed away. I then moved to go live with my mother and step-father in Green Village at the out skirts of Soweto.

She started singing at Protea at the age 10
She played Sarafina in a school play
She joined a became lead singer in a choir between 1995-1996.

She went to Jam Alley mid 1999 where she free styled as a contestant over Chiskop’s instrumental (Abasazi) she was voted No.1 by Loyiso Bala and spotted by former Jam Alley presented Nimrod Nkosi and producer of Jam Alley Oscar Mlangeni.

Eight months later she asked to feature on Mzambiya and Steve Likwiliya’s Jersy Number 10 EP, which was released in 2000.

She officially signed up with Bull Dawgs as an artist and recorded he first solo album named (Bull Dawgs First Lady) featuring Mzambiya.

Mshoza has been making music and headlines for years. Her songs such as Mshoza Abantu Bam have gained her fame but it is her controversial headlines that have people wanting to learn more.

Surviving Families

She is survived by her mother who was a police officer and her two sisters named Thandi and Seipati.
