Love Island star Demi Jones’ thyroid cancer has shocked many fans after the star revealed the scary news.
Demi Jones has been keeping concerned fans updated with her medical concerns lately. She revealed on social media that after undergoing surgery to remove a lump on her Thyroid, she has been diagnosed with cancer.
The 22-year-old star took to Instagram on Thursday to share the latest update that she’s been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She posted a Macmillan pamphlet on her Instagram stories, which was titled: “Understanding thyroid cancer. Hi guys, I got my results today, and unfortunately, I have thyroid cancer,” She wrote.
“The tumor has been removed, but I’m now due to have more surgery to remove the rest of my Thyroid. I’m staying very positive, and I’m a strong girl, so I’ll be fine. Thank you for your love and support always. I’ll bounce back stronger,” the Love Island actress added.
She also wrote a commendatory note for fans; “Check your lumps.”
‘Check your lumps.’ Demi underwent surgery to remove the lump in April but first noticed it in January 2019. At the end of April, Demi told her one million followers she underwent surgery to remove the lump after doctors warned her it could be cancerous. The young star said that she first noticed it in January 2019.
