IT is with the deep sorrow and regret that we announce the death of Hon. Maxas Joel Bweupe Ng’onga.
Hon. Ng’onga passed away on Tuesday 2 March 2021 at his home, a few weeks after suffering a stroke early in January.
Until the time of his death, Hon. Ng’onga was the Member of Parliament for Kaputa Constituency, a seat he held since 2011 under the Patriotic Front (PF) ticket. He also served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock between 2011-2016.
The funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
As a family, we appeal to friends, relatives and members of the public that due to the COVID-19 restrictions still in place, there will be *no gathering at the Late Hon. Ng’onga’s house in Avondale*
We also would like to acknowledge the support of family and friends from far and near, and that of the Government, health facility personnel and other sympathisers throughout this very difficult period.
