His internationally known hits include “El Rey,” “Volver, Volver,” and “Por Tu Maldito Amor.” the singer has received three Grammys and eight Latin Grammys. After a while, he was named Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy in 2002.
The beloved singer released his first recording called “Perdóname” with the help of a company in 1966; he still records for the label, which is now Sony Music Latin of Sony Music Entertainment.
Noted, he appeared in several movies, such as the 1971 film Tacos al carbón, although his first hit movie, 1974’s La ley del monte, for which he did the soundtrack.

Multiple Health Issues Behind Vicente Fernández’s Cause of Death
As reported, Vicente Fernández’s cause of death was health-related and there are several possibilities behind it. The legend passed away on Sunday, December 12 at 6:15 a.m. as he had numerous health issues in recent years.
His health-related issues started as he underwent a complex surgery for removing almost half of his liver due to a tumor back in 2012. Ater a year, he faced pulmonary thrombosis.
Another year went by untill in March 2015, he had three hernias removed. This year, the beloved singer was hospitalized for suffering a fall at his ranch.
It was reported that after the surgery he had to be under intensive care for months unit that required periods on a ventilator. Fernández was transferred to a regular hospital ward by mid-November as little by little his condition improved.
Although, by the end of the month, after he was getting better, he was transferred back in the ICU with respiratory inflammation, according to his medical team which was posted as a statement on his official Instagram account.
Putting all these aside, he had been accused of sexual abuse. Several photos was released, showing that he was touching women without their consent while he was posing with them.
Following these sexual abuse, he was also accused by singer Lupita Castro; however, it needs to be mentioned that Mr.Fernandez had denied any inappropriate behavior.
Noted, he had been associated with the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI), which governed Mexico from 1929 to 2000 and another one between 2012 and 2018.
During the administration of Carlos Salinas de Gortari, he was considered one of the many performers who participated in the “Solidaridad” campaign.
Besides, he attended PRI events or met with politicians from that party; on one occasion, he performed the song “Estos celos” for then-President Enrique Peña Nieto (a PRI member) during an official celebration, performing at PRI rallies.
