The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki as the Chairman of the E-registration committee.
Adamawa Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri was appointed as the Deputy Chairman.
National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, made the announcement to reporters after a NEC emergency meeting on Thursday.
He listed the statutory members of the committee as the national Organising Secretary, National Treasurer, National Financial Secretary, Deputy National Secretary and the National Publicity Secretary.
However, nominations will be taken from the board of trustees, the national assembly, forum of state chairmen, the youth and women demography.
Ologbondiyan said that the committee would recommend to the party when the e-registration exercise would commence.
Obaseki, Fintiri get new PDP appointments
