A 48-year-old man has died after a battle with one other affected person at a hospital in South Yorkshire. 

Police have been referred to as to the scene by hospital employees after the brawl broke out between two sufferers at Rotherham District Common Hospital (RDGH) at round 8.54am at the moment. 

One of many sufferers, a 48-year-old man, died of his accidents within the early hours of this morning.

Immediately, South Yorkshire Police confirmed a 47-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of homicide.

A member of employees at RDGH referred to as officers at 8.54pm on Saturday to report that two sufferers had been preventing.

South Yorkshire Police have now launched an investigation into the incident and can stay on the scene this night.

A police spokesperson stated: ‘We’re working intently with the hospital and can stay on scene this night as we conduct enquiries. 

‘The person’s household has been knowledgeable and are being supported by specialist officers.’
