A pub-goer was given a nasty shock when police swooped in to get better a caravan stolen from Yorkshire that that they had simply purchased for money over a pint in Surrey.
Site visitors cops seized the caravan in Hersham on Thursday evening.
Taking to its Twitter account, Surrey Roads Policing Unit (RPU) stated the caravan can be returned to its rightful house owners in Yorkshire after officers scuppered the deal.

“If you happen to purchase a caravan in a pub for money, maybe don’t be shocked if we flip up and take it off you,” the pressure stated. “This stolen caravan shall be returned to its rightful house owners from West Yorkshire. #teamwork”.
The tweet was accompanied by an image of the expensive-looking caravan being towed away by police. And a few Twitter customers praised the pressure’s actions.
“Thanks, Surrey police. One blissful caravaner goes to get their caravan again,” tweeted @Caravanlife1.
