Musician Grimes’ panic attack that led her to be hospitalized occurred over the weekend shortly after making a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live which her husband Elon Musk hosted.
Elon Musk’s 33-year-old wife revealed on Tuesday she suffered a “scary” panic attack that sent her to a hospital; earlier this evening, she posted backstage photos of herself along with Miley Cyrus, the musical guest on the episode.
The “Delete Forever,” singer captioned the post to say, “Forgot to post these cuz I somehow caused myself to have a panic attack and went to the hospital yesterday which tbh was quite scary and I suppose it’s a good time to start therapy 😑😑😑.”
Grimes also thanked the SNL team, announcing that she was “so grateful to the SNL team for being so kind and letting me sneak in as Princess Peach” then she came to praise the SNL performance of her man, the Tesla, and SpaceX CEO Musk; however, she immediately mentioned that she expected many of her fans to be “upset” of her comments.

What Causes Grimes’ Panic Attack?
There is no more explanation about Grimes’ panic attack and its reason at this time. Grimes had portrayed Princess Peach in a Super Mario-themed design and raved about boyfriend Elon Musk’s hosting appearance on the sketch variety show.
The singer wrote on Instagram, “So proud of my beautiful E (which I know will upset the Grimes fans so I apologise in advance) but he killed it,” she wrote in the post, which you can view above, in reference to Musk.”
The couple, welcoming their son X AE A-Xii on May 4, 2020, first was seen together at the 2018 Met Gala.
Musk referenced their child’s unique moniker during this episode, joked in his monologue, pronouncing like a “cat running across the keyboard.” Last fall, Grimes opened up that their son already is interested in “radical art.”
She explained in an interview, saying, “I’ve watched Apocalypse Now and stuff with my baby,” adding, “He’s into radical art. Like, he just actually is, and I don’t think it’s problematic to engage with them on that level.”
