Taraji P. Henson Admits To Thinking About Suicide During Pandemic

The impacts of the pandemic have been felt since the main lockdown recently. The vulnerability of COVID-19 and the approaching isolate influenced billions of individuals worldwide as positions were lost, urban areas were closed down, market racks were purged, and 1.7 million individuals lost their lives due to the infection. Taraji P. Henson was one of those that battled vigorously during the isolate, and she uncovered on her Facebook Watch series Peace of Mind with Taraji that there were times when she pondered self destruction.

“During this pandemic, it’s been difficult for us all, and I had a second. I had a dim second,” said the entertainer. “I was in a dull spot. For a few days, I was unable to escape the bed, I couldn’t have cared less. That is not me. At that point, I began having musings about completion it. It happened two evenings in succession.” Taraji conceded that she got herself a weapon.

“I could go in there the present moment and simply end it all, ’cause I need it to be finished.” Taraji even justified that since her child is a grown-up, it would be something that he would mend from. Nonetheless, she concluded that she expected to mention to a companion what she was feeling. “So, one day I just exclaimed it to my better half. She called me in the first part of the day and I resembled, ‘You realize I contemplated killing myself the previous evening. Gracious my god, I feel so much better. I’m not going to do it now.'”
