Zanny Minton Beddoes is an economist and journalist who’s now 55 years of age.

Beddoes attended Moreton Corridor College in Oswestry and went to Oxford College to pursue an undergraduate diploma in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at St Hilda’s Faculty.

After graduating, Zanny acquired employed as an adviser to Poland’s Minister of Finance in 1992. She turned a reporter for The Economist in 1994 as a consequence of her efforts.

In 1996, she acquired promoted to Economics editor, the place she oversaw worldwide economics safety from Washington, DC.
Later, Beddos acquired upgraded to Enterprise Affairs editor, the place she was accountable for the enterprise, finance, and science.
On February 2, 2015, she turned the seventeenth and first female editor-in-chief of the journal.
