
William C. Dement was born on July 29, 1928. He was an American sleep researcher and founder of the Sleep Research Center at Stanford University. He is a leading authority on sleep, sleep deprivation and the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and narcolepsy.
His death was announced by the Sleep Research Society, an organization he helped found in 1961.
He died on Wednesday June 17, 2020. His cause of death is still unknown. We will update you as soon as we have more information about his death.
